Students who have passed XII Standard (HSSC) Examination of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are eligible for admission to the First Semester of B.A. / B. Com. / B.Sc. Programme.

Age Relaxation:
The candidate should not have completed 21 years of age as on 1" July 2023. However, age relaxation by three years is applicable to Physically Challenged and Scheduled Caste and Tribe candidates and five years in case of Nuns belonging to various Religious Congregations & Widows. Apart from the above said candidates, no age relaxation will be given to any candidate under any circumstances.
Lateral Entry Stream:
- Candidates who have passed Diploma in Commerce or Diploma in Modern Office Practice (Three Years Course) awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu or other states shall be admitted to second year of the B.Com. Commerce course, subject to the availability of seats purely on merit up to 10% of the sanctioned strength in the course. However, the total strength should not exceed the sanctioned strength.
- Candidates who have passed Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Technology / Computer Application in First Class (10+3 years of study) as mentioned in the Degree / Provisional certificate are eligible to apply for lateral entry to the second year of the B.Sc. Computer Science course, subject to the availability of the seats but limited to 10% of the sanctioned strength in each course. However, the total strength should not exceed the sanctioned strength in each course.
